MD qualified Dr. Ravishankar has received overseas training in ‘Headache Management’ at the Houston Headache Clinic and the City of London Migraine Clinic. He is not only the Founder Member of the Asian Headache Foundation and an eminent member on The Board of Trustees linked to The International Headache Society but also a member of The American Headache Society. He is the recipient of a special recognition award from The International Headache Society with Honorary Life Membership to The HIS conferred to him at the International Headache Congress - 2013 in Boston.
Dr. Ravishankar is the Chairperson of the Headache Subsection of The Indian Academy of Neurology. He is on the Editorial Board of ‘Headache Currents’ and is a reviewer for the Journals, ‘Cephalalgia’ and ‘Headache’, Neurology India, Annals of The Indian Academy of Neurology and JAPI.
